Hypnosis for Complete Self Confidence

To lead a happy and productive life it is important to have the quality known as self confidence. When you truly believe in yourself you can achieve so much more than you could otherwise. One of the best ways to increase your self confidence is with hypnosis. You can reprogram your mind with a combination of hypnosis and NLP and fill yourself with self confidence. Read on below to discover how hypnosis can give you complete self confidence.

---

Self-confidence can be defined as the ability to believe in oneself and one's gifts. This trait is critical to achievements in life. This quality enables people to understand in their self-worth and that they can be successful in their actions. Even persons who do not possess this trait can begin to build their self confidence.

Without self-confidence, many people find themselves unable to achieve life ambitions. They are often ineffective in interpersonal interactions, academic endeavours, and work situations. They frequently acquire a social phobia, and tend to be awkward in group encounters. People who do not possess self-confidence frequently hesitate to work to aspire or work toward goal accomplishment; they firmly believe that they are about to fail. They believe that they are inferior to or less successful than the people around them. They frequently do fail because they do not believe in themselves.

In contrast, the person capable of gaining self confidence will find himself or herself equipped to change this cycle of despair and be able to find treatment for this social phobia. This person then learns that improving self confidence results in remarkable improvements in relationships and academic achievements. Sometimes, a job promotion may be a product of steps taken to boost self-confidence.

People sometimes do not build self-confidence for a number of reasons. They may have had domineering parents, or been teased frequently in school. Some struggled educationally or socially. Others just did not have success at making friends or encounter the reassuring support of classmates, parents, or teachers. Many of these people struggle with a self-perception of inadequacy and incompetence.

Frequently, those who were unable to improve self confidence during childhood are unable to do this in adulthood. They did not learn how to effect this, and can learn only if they look for the help and support of peers or trained professionals. Too often, people do not want to admit these difficulties in their lives, and simply continue to strive during their lifetimes.

A number of approaches have been used to assist people to gain self confidence. Many styles of counselling therapies, like behavioral therapy or group therapy, are employed to assist people how to gain self confidence. Countless self-help books have been written to help people to improve self-confidence. Professionals offer instructional sessions and retreats developed to assist people increase self confidence.

While each of these techniques are sometimes beneficial, two innovative that are easily learned and quite effective for the majority of people who try them are confidence hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Specialists who practice confidence hypnotherapy are typically able to coach people to acquire self confidence and radically improve both their perspectives and their chances to achieve in life.

Traditional hypnotherapy (employing post-hypnotic suggestions) can be very effective. This approach is most helpful for people who are suggestible and easily directed. This treatment frequently does not work as well for people who tend to be analytical or are critical thinkers.

For those who fit the latter category, Ericksonian hypnotherapy and NLP techniques work much better. These tools are great for successfully relating to the unconscious mind. This is because the resistance to suggestiveness usually presented by analytical people is bypassed.

One of the NLP techniques that people are frequently taught to build self confidence is known as anchoring. If a person hears an old song, and has sensations of deja vu, it's because the subconscious relates the feelings from a past time, with the lyrics of the song was playing. Therefore, hearing the song again triggers the memories connected with it. The song is an anchor for those emotions.

Through anchoring, people are coached to recall an instance that made them feel the feelings of confidence. When they remember and relive those sensations, they learn to touch two fingers together. The unconscious then associates the recollections of confidence with this physical action.

After anchoring the emotions of confidence, when they find themselves in situations that demand self-confidence, touching the fingers together triggers emotions of confidence for use in the present situation.

Another NLP technique called the "Flash" is sometimes used to immediately substitute stressful emotions frequently connected with a lack of self-confidence. Through this method, the person diverts the mental pictures that cause negativity, to trigger mental pictures to generate a constructive response.

For example, the client programs the unconscious to employ the mental cues that cause feelings of uncertainty, as triggers for mental cues that trigger feelings of confidence. Mental images trigger an individual's emotions.

Everyone has dreams, and desires. Some people can work toward these to realize their aspirations. Some, however let their lack of self-confidence to overwhelm them. Although NLP does not help everyone, the vast majority of people who attempt this technique report great success in boosting self confidence. This strategy is actually much more successful than other approaches for most people.

The Advantages of Online Hypnosis

When it comes to hypnosis there are now two distinctly different roads you can go down if you wish to try it for yourself. You can either go to a clinical hypnotherapist (or have them come to you) or alternatively you can go on the internet and find a mp3 session that fits your needs. This article looks at the many advantages that online hypnosis holds.

---

Hypnosis has received an increased amount of interest in recent years. This can be attributed to the sheer weight of scientific evidence that has promoted hypnosis as a therapy with a high rate of success, as well as the relatively new field of online hypnosis.

Many of the best hypnotherapists have come to realise that the internet is a wide open medium with many consumers hungry for the convenience of online shopping. Instead of working with clients in their local area they can now record sessions as a CD or MP3 and offer them to millions of potential clients on the internet. Not only is this great for the profits of the hypnotherapist but now people who wish to try hypnosis to aid their life can be treated by some of the greatest in the field, even if they live thousands of miles away.

That is the main advantage of online hypnosis. Anyone can find a hypnotherapist who will help to improve their lives without ever leaving the comfort of their own house. Not only that but a MP3 that you can purchase online will typically cost anywhere between $10 and $50 which is a small fraction of what a session in person would cost you.

In just a few clicks you can find dozens of reputable sites that will help you to quit smoking, lose weight, cure your phobia or nearly anything else you can imagine. This is another big positive, you can find a session for just about anything hypnosis can be used to treat.

Another big advantage of online hypnosis is the fact that once you've purchased a MP3 or CD you can listen to it at your leisure and as often as you want. You don't have to book an appointment to listen to your iPod! If you've given up smoking through hypnosis but then fall back into the habit years later, you can simply being listening to the session again and quit smoking again at no extra cost.

Like anything else though there are some things to be careful about with online hypnosis. You need to make sure that the site is run by a reputable hypnotherapist with good customer services. This can easily be found out simply by looking for an "About Us/Me" type page where you will learn more about the hypnotherapist, their training and the philosophy behind their therapy. Before you buy a session it is also a good idea to exchange an email with the customer service department to make sure that they're helpful and will respond should anything go wrong with the checkout procedure. As long as you follow these tips you shouldn't come across any problems.

If you've ever thought of using hypnotherapy to improve your life then there's really no time like the present. It has never been more accessible thanks to the new field of online hypnosis.

The Power of Imagination

One of the many great things about hypnosis is the way it harnesses the power of the human imagination. If you doubt just how powerful it is, go back now and think of one event in your life that made you particularly happy. It could be your wedding day, the birth of a child or the day you past your exams. Picture that specific moment in your mind. You might notice that a smile starts to crack on your face and you begin to actually feel happier. That is the power of imagination. Your subconscious mind struggles to tell the difference between real life and what you imagine, and that’s why they both garner a similar reaction.

Linda Gillman goes into this amazing phenomenon in the article below.

---

Do you want it? Can you feel it? Can you see it? Can you imagine it? You can have it. It is as simple as that. All we need is the desire to have it, believe that we can have it and expect it to happen and hypnosis will take us there. Our imagination is such a powerful tool. Think about it, everything starts with thought and imagination. All on earth and above started with a thought. Even God had a thought of how to create the earth and universe, and then it was created. We do the same thing. Through our thoughts and imagination we create our lives moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day. If we would only stop for a moment to see what we are creating. Is this what we want for our lives? We are the author of our own life’s destiny.

Simply by the thoughts that we think and the feelings and attitudes that we attach to them, we create our life experience. Think about it, it is not what actually happens to us but how we imagine it. That is how we create our reality. This in turn gets imbedded into our subconscious mind as truth. We literally hypnotize our self with our thoughts and imagination. To prove this point I will share with you something that I learned in a hypnosis class. There was a case study on a woman with two personalities, one of which was a diabetic and the other was not. When the woman was “Sally” she was a diabetic. When she was “Jane” she was not a diabetic. This is proof to me how strong and powerful our subconscious mind is. This was one woman that had a medical problem based on her subconscious believing that one personality had diabetes and the other did not. This was a powerful representation of our subconscious mind controlling our bodies and perceived reality. These thoughts get plugged into our subconscious and become our day to day life. Our subconscious mind will believe what we tell it whether it is true or not, good or bad. These thoughts will become our reality. So guard your thoughts and be careful how you use your imagination because you are the author of you life, good or bad! “As a man thinks so shall he be!”

God Bless!

The Basics of Good Health

This may be a general health article which deviates from the norm here at Full Hypnosis but what we find interesting is that even in an article entitled “The Basics of Good Health” hypnosis is recommended! It’s nice to see hypnosis is starting to get mainstream recognition from many professional within the health field.

---

I was recently flicking through a newspaper and I came across a piece that was spot on regarding people’s attitudes to health and life in general. The piece in questions was in fact a Garfield comic. In Garfield’s short monologue he proclaimed that he loved to spend his time planning, because it meant that he then didn’t have to actually do anything.

We are bombarded by information about health every single day. I regularly read the newspaper, not just for the Garfield comic, and I’ve seen some startling misinformation and contradictory articles printed within the space of a few days. This is all from a very reputable UK broadsheet. For example I once read a study proclaiming that drinking two cups of coffee a day was good for your health. Then a week later, in the same paper, there was another study saying that coffee should be avoided at all costs. So which are we supposed to believe?

My answer is to ignore both. I’d recommend ignoring most health information altogether. This may sound drastic but it’s intended to be. Keeping healthy isn’t a matter of reading all the articles you can get your hands on and then cramming the information into a strict routine. It’s too hard to do and virtually impossible to keep to. The key to good health, like most things in life, is to keep it basic. If you wish to get healthy then all you need to do is follow my basic advice. There’s only five points to remember and they’re not at all complicated so anyone can stick to them.

1. Eat a balanced diet.

You should never starve yourself and similarly you shouldn’t overeat. Cut down on fatty foods as well as sugary/salty treats and replace them with fruit and vegetables. It’s okay to have a little treat once in awhile but it should be exactly that, a treat…not the norm. Remember “you are what you eat”. Do you want to be a sluggish sausage or an sprightly strawberry?

P.S. Go easy on the sodas and alcohol too, these are merely empty calories that will cause excess weight gain.

2. Take regular exercise.

It may sound like a pain but regular exercise only has to be 30 minutes of activity three times a week. If you say you haven’t got time for that then you’re a liar! Then are many painless ways to fit in exercise around your life. You could get off the bus a couple of stops early, join a local sports team or you could do what I do - I have an exercise bike in my room and I hop on it whenever I’m watching TV. It’s amazing how quickly 30 minutes of cycling flies by when you’re engrossed in your favourite show.

3. Relax.

High levels of stress weaken the immune system and open you up to an array of health issues, both physical and mental. You can protect yourself though by allotting yourself a little “me time” a couple of times a week. Both meditation and hypnosis are excellent ways to relax, and with hypnosis you can even improve another aspect of your being while ridding yourself of stress. Try purchasing a hypnosis mp3 from a reputable store and listening to it a few days a week. Alternatively you may just want to curl up with a good book or partake in your favourite hobby.

4. Keep good hygiene.

You can stave off many illnesses just by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and then drying them off completely several times a day. You don’t have to be obsessive about it, just every time you go to the toilet, handle food or play with your pet will do.

5. Socialize.

We humans are social creatures (well most of us!), and socializing plays an important role in maintaining good health. When we interact in a fun environment it reduces stress levels, strengthens and immune system and improves mental faculties. You can combine socializing with some of the tips above to make the most of your time. For example you could go and play a round of golf with a few friends, you’ll get in plenty of exercise walking around while socializing and depending on how well you play it may even be relaxing!

There you have it, the basics of good health. That’s really all there is to it. The time for talking is now over, it’s time for you to get out there and get active. Your health depends on it.

Hypnosis For Better Skin

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror up close and wished that you had better skin? There is a way that you can improve your skin at a mere fraction of the cost of all the expensive creams that are available. Hypnosis can help you attain smooth, clear skin and you can find out how by reading the article below.

---

It is said that the quality of your skin is a reflection on your inner health. So if you find yourself with skin problems such as acne rosacea, flakiness or psoriasis it may be that you have an internal imbalance. There are many skin creams, scrubs and various other products on the market but these tend to be expensive and ineffective. The reason they don’t work is that they may cover the skin but they don’t treat the internal imbalance. It’s like covering a bruise with a band aid, it might hide the bruise but it does nothing to make it better.

How then do you get to the root of bad skin? The answer may surprise you, but hypnosis is scientifically proven to vastly improve skin quality. Just how though does hypnosis work to give you better skin?

Hypnosis excels at dealing with internal imbalances because it works on a subconscious level. When you try hypnosis for yourself you might be surprised by the experience. You are not asleep or under the control of the hypnotherapist. Instead you enter a deep state of relaxation where the hypnotherapist guides you through a script designed to improve any aspect of your being that you want. In this case your skin. You cannot be stuck in hypnosis, and almost anybody can be hypnotized.

Most skin conditions are a result of diet and stress. Both these issues can be treated very successfully by hypnosis. A skilled hypnotherapist can plant suggestions into your subconscious mind to avoid unhealthy foods which negatively affect your skin’s health. By replacing high-sugar/salt foods with fruit and vegetables you will see a noticeable improvement in the quality of your skin.

However hypnosis also goes one step further. No matter what you use hypnosis for, you will be amazed at just how relaxed and stress free you will feel afterwards. If you’ve ever meditated then you know just how rested you feel afterwards, and hypnosis leaves you with a very similar feeling. So when you try a skin hypnosis session you are both improving your diet for the future and relieving any stress you hold.

By now you might be thinking “This all sounds great, but I can’t afford a hypnotherapist!”. The great thing is that nowadays getting a high quality hypnotherapist to treat you is within the financial reach of anyone. There are a number of excellent hypnosis sites on the internet run by popular clinical hypnotherapists who offer sessions that cost around $10 to $20.

The reason hypnosis mp3s are so fairly priced is that a hypnotherapist can take the time to record one session, and that session can then be sold to potentially thousands of customers. Due to this you can find hypnosis mp3s that will give you healthy, clear skin without damaging your bank account.

Just imagine being able to look in the mirror a few weeks from now and seeing a face with beautifully clear skin smiling back at you. You can make that image a reality through the stunning power of hypnosis.

Author Resource:- HypnoBusters are one of the leading online hypnosis resources. They provide articles, videos and many hypnosis mp3s that have been professionally recorded by clinical hypnotherapist Jon Rhodes.

Self Hypnosis Can Cure Your Phobia

Phobias are one of the few problems that doctors don’t seem to have a pill for. So where do you turn to for a cure for your phobia? Well since phobias are a problem of the mind there is no more better solution than hypnosis. This article goes into how you can learn self hypnosis to cure your phobia and where you can go to get the best in hypnosis mp3s.

---

Do you have a phobia? If you do try and imagine facing that phobia right now. It could be a spider, it may be a glove or it could be walking under a bridge. Whatever it is try and picture it right now and focus on how it makes you feel.

This little exercise goes to prove a few of things. Firstly if you now feel shaken and disturbed then you almost definitely have a phobia. Secondly it goes to show how powerful the mind is, just from thinking about your phobia it elicited a reaction similar to if your phobia was actually right there with you now. Most importantly though it also goes to show that your phobia can be eased and even cured through the use of self hypnosis.

Perhaps before we look into how self hypnosis can cure phobias we should define exactly what a phobia is and indeed what self hypnosis is.

A phobia is a certain type of anxiety disorder. Essentially it is a mild mental illness, mild in the fact that it is unlikely that a phobia will cause you to harm yourself or others - although such cases have been documented. For example in England a year or so ago a young adult ran off a cliff to escape a loose dog. The word “phobia” itself comes from the Greek word phobos meaning morbid fear.

You might believe that there’s no reason for your phobia but there almost certainly will be. It could be that you share your phobia with a parent and it was passed onto you by seeing how your parent reacted to, lets say, a spider in total fear. Witnessing this sort of reaction early in life can shock your mind and trigger a defence mechanism, making you subconsciously believe that spiders are incredibly dangerous and therefore should be morbidly feared. Alternatively you may have encountered an aggressive dog when you were younger which has resulted in a phobia.

Self hypnosis is a self induced form of hypnosis and is a versatile method of changing your mindset. This make self hypnosis very helpful in overcoming phobias, quitting smoking, losing weight and aiding many more problems. Hypnosis” also comes from the Greek language, specifically the word hypnos meaning sleep. This name however is quite inaccurate as hypnosis is actually a heightened state of attention.

So how can you use self hypnosis to overcome your phobia?

There are typically two methods of using self hypnosis that can be used to cure phobias. If you have experience with self hypnosis then you may wish to write yourself a hypnotic script. In this script you should induce a hypnotic state as usual, and while you are in this relaxed state take the index and middle finger of your right hand and gently tap them on the top of your left hand, repeating to yourself the key phrase “I am completely relaxed”. At this point you should be deeply relaxed. Then you will want to introduce an image of your phobia into your mind’s eye while still tapping your fingers onto your hand and repeating the key phrase. You should find now that the image of your phobia no longer elicits the fearful reaction it once did. This is because your mind now associates the image with relaxation. When you feel mentally ready you may also wish to face your fear in person, you can still use the self hypnosis script above to keep yourself relaxed should you feel yourself start to panic.

If you don’t have previous experience with self hypnosis or you’d just prefer an easier method then you may wish to try a reputable online hypnosis resource which sells phobia hypnosis mp3s. This may not sound much like self hypnosis to have a hypnotherapist hypnotizing you but in reality all hypnosis is self hypnosis. Just think of the hypnotherapist as your own personal guide to self hypnosis. This way not only can you cure your phobia but you will also learn how to perform self hypnosis for yourself in the future from the way the hypnotherapist conducts the session.

Self hypnosis is a vital life skill and one that everyone should learn.

Animals Under Hypnosis

This incredible video from the BBC shows how it’s not just humans who can be affected by hypnosis but animals too. Watch as animals including chickens and alligators are put into a hypnotic trance and left resting on their backs, barely moving. This goes to show that hypnosis doesn’t merely work on a “placebo” level as some theorise since animals obviously have no concept of placebos or consciousness.
